Debbie Hay is Professor of Biochemistry and Pharmacology at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Debbie obtained her BSc in Pharmacology from Sheffield University and PhD from Imperial College London. Her team had made contributions to determining the pharmacology, mode of ligand binding, signalling, and tissue expression of class B G protein-coupled receptors, and is developing new analogues and tools to study these peptide-receptor systems. Professor Hay is an Editor of the British Journal of Pharmacology, an NC-IUPHAR corresponding member and is Chair of the NC-IUPHAR subcommittee on calcitonin family receptors.
